Sola Contracting LLC is a bonded and insured federal and commercial general contractor ready to help you with your construction and project management needs. We are based in New Orleans, LA, although we are able to work across the Gulf Region and the rest of the country. Sola Contracting LLC is a Louisiana General Contractor (LA GC#77111), SBA-certified 8(a), HUBZone, woman owned small business (WOSB), economically disadvantaged woman owned small business (EDWOSB) and disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) small business.

Our firm provides high quality work - on time and with outstanding communication, setting us apart from many other competitors. We are transparent in all aspects of the project and most importantly, we do what we say we are going to do.

Safety is a critical part of our operations and procedures and ingrained in our culture at Sola Contracting. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have 100% of our staff certified with OSHA. Our field staff all hold OSHA 30 or better.

LEADERSHIP

Ruth Dunn founded Sola Contracting LLC in February 2022 after a dozen years working for and with other federal contractors. She saw an opportunity to refine all that she had learned over the last 12 years and establish a firm providing quality construction, outstanding communication and safe and timely projects.

Her professional experience includes project management, accounting & finance, legal, risk management and establishing operational processes. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia. She is currently leading a team of dedicated construction professionals, each of which is excited to be working with you on your next project!
